Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muhammed Lawal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Barry Cade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Muhammed Lawal! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Barry Cade! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lawal blocks a head kick by Cade.
Lawal looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Cade! Cade keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Cade sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Lawal is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Cade actively working from the bottom here. Lawal winds up and cracks Cade with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cade is trying to maintain the position but Lawal is very close to passing his half guard. Cade looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lawal sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Cade defending well though. Cade tries to kick Lawal off but Lawal keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Cade tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Cade tries to roll over but Lawal keeps him under control. Lawal knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cade on the ground. Lawal is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Lawal thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Cade to regain full guard. Cade trying to control the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lawal throws and elbow that misses. Cade uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lawal's guard. Nice move by Cade! Cade has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lawal is proving hard to escape from. Lawal trying to control the position here. Cade trying to control but Lawal is working from the bottom. Lawal is pulling down on Cade's head. It's preventing any offense from Cade, at least for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Muhammed Lawal has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Cade doesn't succeed with the takedown and Lawal counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lawal. Lawal with a flurry of punches that miss. Lawal looking to sit in guard and control but Cade gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Cade trying to control the position from guard on top but Lawal is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cade moves in looking to clinch but Lawal pushes him off. Barry Cade seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cade tries to sprawl but Lawal drives through with a takedown into half guard. Lawal is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Cade is trying to maintain the position but Lawal is very close to passing his half guard. Lawal thows a huge punch but Cade dodges it nicely.

Cade regains full guard. Nicely done. Lawal loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Lawal is looking to work some ground and pound but Cade has wrist control. Cade looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Cade is breathing heavily. Cade wants to stand up but Lawal is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Lawal thows a big elbow that misses. Lawal working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Cade is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Cade is trying to keep Lawal in close.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Cade preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Lawal would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Lawal keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cade's head. Lawal throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Cade works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Lawal is looking to work some ground and pound but Cade has wrist control. Lawal working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Lawal is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Cade lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Lawal is trying to control the position from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Muhammed Lawal dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Cade misses with a takedown attempt and Lawal counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Cade! Cade can't escape the position.
Muhammed Lawal overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lawal working some short elbows here. He postures up to throw some more ground and pound but Cade slips a leg through to get back to half guard. Nice work.
Lawal not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Lawal is working for an americana but Cade has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Lawal was thinking about the submission. Cade has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Lawal off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lawal changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cade looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Cade is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Cade actively working from the bottom here. Lawal missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Cade trying to hold on to Lawal's head to control him but Lawal postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lawal thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Cade's head. Cade wants to control but Lawal is keeping busy.

Lawal has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Cade had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Lawal defends it easily. Lawal preventing the sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Cade is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Lawal throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Lawal's corner is telling him to maintain position. Barry Cade has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Cade looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
And that's the end of the fight! Muhammed Lawal showed his dominance in that final round. Well Lawal has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
