Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Dux (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jackson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rampage Song. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frank Dux! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Phil Jackson! The judges for this bout are , and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dux moves out of range of the leg kick from Jackson. Dux throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Dux wants to clinch. Dux throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A punch combination from Jackson misses. Dux thows a left - swing and a miss! Dux misses with a double jab
and Jackson counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Jackson thows a huge punch but Dux dodges it nicely.
Jackson not landing any meaningful shots this time. Dux is not content to let Jackson control the position. Jackson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Jackson thows a huge punch but Dux dodges it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Dux to regain full guard. Jackson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jackson chips away with some ground and pound. Jackson content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Dux utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Jackson chips away with some ground and pound. Jackson tries to free his leg and advance position but Dux is retaining full guard. Jackson content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Jackson postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Dux is breathing heavily. Jackson trying to control but Dux is working from the bottom. That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Jackson throws a big right hand that misses. Jackson throwing strikes from guard but Dux blocks nicely. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jackson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Dux has momentary wrist control but Jackson slips an elbow through the middle. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jackson controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Jackson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Jackson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Jackson is working Dux over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Jackson wants to control from the top but Dux keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dux swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jackson stands up over Dux, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Jackson's corner is telling him to maintain position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jackson throwing strikes but missing. Jackson controlling from the top position. Jackson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jackson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jackson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Jackson controlling from the top position. Jackson is working Dux over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Jackson wants to pass the guard but Dux is keeping the position. Jackson working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jackson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Jackson distracts Dux with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Phil Jackson dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Jackson moves into range and clinches up with Dux. Jackson tries to circle away but Dux has him pinned against the cage. Dux breaks from the clinch.
Dux misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dux feints a jab promting Jackson to slip. Dux then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Jackson slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Dux shoots and misses and Jackson counters with a two punch combo. Jackson misses with a two punch combination.
Jackson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jackson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jackson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Jackson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dux. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jackson scoring with punches from side control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Jackson works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Jackson remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Check out the look on Jackson's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Dux takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Dux seems a little lost for a moment, as Jackson dominates the positioning. Phil Jackson has got the better of the ground game so far. Jackson decides to stand up, so the ref orders Dux to his feet. Jackson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Dux eats them both and turns towards Jackson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson clinches with his opponent.
Jackson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jackson avoids the head kick by Dux.
Jackson scores to the head and body with a nice combination! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jackson looks to land a combination. Dux sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Dux is rocked! Jackson feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Dux crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Phil Jackson!
