Smith comes to the cage accompanied by For Whom The Bell Tolls. Kenny Smith could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kyle Rampage's chin.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith misses with a combination
so Rampage counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Smith trying to control the position here.
Smith looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Rampage wanted to stand there but Smith had control of the position.
Smith on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Smith tries to get out of the position.

Smith utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rampage wants to control from the top but Smith keeps moving.
Smith being controlled here, momentarily.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Smith keeping moving, preventing Rampage from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Kyle Rampage was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Rampage keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Smith misses with a hook
and Rampage counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Smith!
Rampage controlling the pace for now.

Rampage moves to the back.
Smith prevents Rampage from getting a body triangle.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Rampage might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Smith kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Rampage has good solid back control here.
Rampage keeps control of the position as Smith tries to break free.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Smith looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Rampage tries to break the clinch but Smith is controlling the position.
Rampage wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Rampage.
It looks like Kenny Smith has been cut.
Rampage is trying to break the clinch but Smith is controlling him.
A left hand lands to the body for Smith.

Rampage is trying to push Smith away but Smith has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Rampage throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Rampage escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Smith cracks Rampage with a right hand to the side of the head.
Smith misses with a shot to the body
and Rampage counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Rampage tries to close the distance and clinch but Smith swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rampage walks into a stiff left hand from Smith.
Smith swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rampage counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Rampage keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Smith.
A head kick misses from Rampage.
Smith throws a lazy uppercut
and Rampage cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith misses with a lunging right hand
and Rampage counters with a nice leg kick.
Smith drops Rampage with a beautiful combination! Rampage stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Smith is looking for the KO!
Rampage is rocked!
It looks like Kyle Rampage has been cut.
Rampage takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Rampage is still on wobbly legs! Can Smith finish him?
Rampage is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rampage is aggressively charging in as Smith backs up avoiding any damage. Smith tosses out a jab and Rampage runs right into it face first! Rampage is out cold! Smith dropped down on all fours and is barking in Rampage's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Kenny Smith!
