18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jae Wilco! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Emerson Jorge and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice uppercut lands for Wilco. That snapped Henry 's head back.
Henry swings away with a leg kick that misses. Henry throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Sloppy strikes from Henry . Those never looked like landing. Henry fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Wilco checks it well. Wilco looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Henry feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Wilco's calf. Wilco avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Henry throws a combination that misses and Wilco counters by clinching up. Henry lands a nice uppercut. Henry has hold of one of Wilco's legs. Wilco is fighting the takedown attempt but Henry gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Wilco looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Wilco wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Henry stands and steps away. Wilco gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Henry throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Wilco counters with a single leg into guard. Henry didn't expect that. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Henry keeping moving, preventing Wilco from controlling successfully. Henry is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wilco is controlling him.

Wilco is looking to work some ground and pound but Henry has wrist control. Wilco content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Wilco is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Henry is looking to stand up but Wilco isn't so interested in that idea. Henry keeping moving, preventing Wilco from controlling successfully. Wilco stops Henry from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Wilco forces his way into half guard. Henry looks like he's trying to stand up.
Wilco trying to control from half guard but Henry is working away. Wilco seems to be working for a kimura but Henry defends the submission attempt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wilco controlling the pace. Henry has hold of Wilco's hands but Wilco slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Wilco wants to lay and pray for a moment but Henry keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Henry kicks off Wilco and gets to his feet. Henry dips to his left and cracks Wilco with an uppercut! Wilco fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Henry wants to clinch but Wilco slips to the side and Wilco counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Henry tries to clinch and Wilco counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Henry is trying to stand back up but Wilco is controlling him
Henry is looking to get back to is feet but Wilco passes into side control.
Henry is breathing heavily. Henry is working to avoid the ground and pound but Wilco connects with a decent elbow. Henry is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Henry taking a bit of punishment here - Wilco scoring with strikes. Henry is pushing Wilco's head away, looking to escape. Wilco manages to hold on to the position though. Wilco cracks Henry with an elbow. That is naaassty. This has been an exciting period of action! Henry is not content to let Wilco control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wilco is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Henry is trying to escape and Wilco transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Henry is forced to tap! Nice work there by Wilco! Very nice indeed!
