Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gabriel Francisco !
The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Paulo Santos and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Francisco or perhaps it was just good defense by Rasillio which made him look bad.

Rasillio closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Rasillio lands a nice elbow.

Rasillio breaks the clinch.
Rasillio stuffs the takedown.
Francisco closes the distance and clinches up with Rasillio, looking for a takedown. Francisco pushes Rasillio against the cage but Rasillio circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Alejandro Rasillio has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gabriel Francisco .
Francisco closes this distance looking for a takedown but Rasillio circles away.
Rasillio throws a sloppy head kick and Francisco moves out of range easily.
Francisco looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rasillio is fending him off so far but Francisco persists. Nope, Rasillio circles away and we're back to standing.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Rasillio breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rasillio dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Francisco . That did some damage!
Rasillio misses with a jab, cross combination.
Francisco tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Rasillio swivels and escapes.
A right-left combo lands from Rasillio.
Alejandro Rasillio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Francisco looks gassed!

Rasillio darts in and clinches Francisco up against the cage.

Rasillio escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rasillio landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Rasillio darts in and clinches Francisco up against the cage.
Francisco fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Rasillio breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Francisco shoots in and drives through. Rasillio sprawls well.

Rasillio clinches up with Francisco and pushes him back against the cage.
Francisco tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rasillio smiles and moves away.
Francisco will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

That's one minute gone in the round.
No luck for Francisco with that takedown attempt.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Rasillio!

Rasillio has Francisco up against the cage in a clinch.
Francisco tries to pull guard but Rasillio holds him up against the cage and eventually Francisco drops back down to his feet.
Francisco tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Rasillio breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Rasillio lands with a kick to the temple. Francisco shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Knees in the clinch landing for Rasillio.

Rasillio has closed the distance and engaged Francisco in a clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Francisco takes a shot to the head.
Francisco tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Rasillio breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Francisco shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rasillio's guard.
Rasillio might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Francisco trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Rasillio wants to get back to his feet but Francisco is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Francisco is pushing down on Rasillio's leg trying to pass to half guard. Rasillio is fighting to maintain full guard but Francisco has managed to sneak the leg through.

Francisco is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Francisco is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Francisco tries to pass the half guard into mount. Rasillio knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Francisco is pressing down on Rasillio's thigh, looking to free his foot. Rasillio is holding on for now.
Francisco is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Rasillio!

Francisco goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Rasillio is on top in guard.

Francisco looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Francisco looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Rasillio is defending well. Francisco quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Rasillio has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Francisco celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
