Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alex Burkhart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien Quincy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Quincy has chosen Requiem for a Dream as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alex Burkhart! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Damien Quincy! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quincy swings widly with a right hand
and Burkhart counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Quincy keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Quincy misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Burkhart cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Burkhart throws a shot from downtown. Quincy moves away and avoids it. Burkhart throws a right and a left that Quincy avoids nicely. Burkhart throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Burkhart cracks Quincy with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Quincy shoots in and gets a takedown into Burkhart's guard. Quincy has gone for a leg lock! Burkhart slips out almost immediately though and dives into Quincy's guard. Burkhart might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Quincy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Burkhart gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Burkhart landing some decent shots from guard.
