Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Royal Commando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith Schafer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Royal Commando!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Keith Schafer!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Commando ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Schafer moves away.

Schafer tries a head kick but it misses.
Commando lands with a shot to the body.
Commando throws a low kick, looking for Schafer's leg but Schafer calmly moves out of range.
Commando jabs Schafer to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Schafer clinches up with Commando and pushes him back against the cage.

Schafer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Schafer misses with a body shot.
Schafer throws a low kick but it's checked well by Commando.
Schafer takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Schafer looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Commando has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Schafer is working away from the top position though.

Commando is looking for a sweep. Schafer is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Schafer is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Commando can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
