Jackons has chosen Dream On as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jorge Jackons! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Skip Squint and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackons tries to clinch but Cook is having none of it. Jorge Jackons seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jackons tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Jackons tries to clinch there but Cook circles away.
Cook is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Jackons's half guard. Cook drops an elbow to the side of Jackons's head. Cook misses with a head shot. Jackons uses the momentum to regain guard. Cook slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Cook throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Cook is landing with some decent strikes but Jackons is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
