Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between You Me (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander Cage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cage has chosen "Coming Undone" by Korn as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Alexander Cage has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

8 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alexander Cage! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cage shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Me as he avoids it easily. The fight stays on the outside here - Cage looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Me closes the distance and clinches. Cage should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. The referee is keeping an eye on Me - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Cage wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Me gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Me working Cage over with knees to the body. Me working hard to break the clinch. Cage looking to slow down the pace here. Me pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Me moves out of range as Cage strikes. Cage wants to slow Me down by chopping away at his legs. Me moves into the clinch. Me taking a break, stalling in the clinch.

Me's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Me breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Me has his takedown stuffed and Cage counters with a nice double leg into guard. Cage is in close to Me's body, working some short punches and elbows. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Cage has eaten all the pies! Cage is stalling in the full guard. Me wants to improve his position but instead Cage has moved into half guard.
Cage has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Cage content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that You Me will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Cage uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Me. Cage tries to clinch up and Me holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Cage looks to throw an elbow but misses. Me lands an elbow inside. Cage keeps control of Me as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Me is trying to force a seperation but Cage has the dominant position. Me breaks the clinch.

Cage escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Me tries to clinch but Cage moves out of range. Me clinches up with Cage and pushes him back against the cage. Me scores with a knee to the head.

And that's the end of the fight! You Me showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Me, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
