Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gordon Ramsey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Deely (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Deely is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sorry, You're not a Winner. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Gordon Ramsey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Sean Deely!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, William Gold and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ramsey tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Deely paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Deely changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ramsey looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Ramsey can't do much from the bottom here.
Ramsey manages to get back to half guard.
Deely is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Ramsey is staying active underneath Deely, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Deely is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

Deely trying to control but Ramsey is working from the bottom.
Ramsey looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Ramsey has his foot on Deely's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Deely works his way back into a safe position though.
Ramsey manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Deely manages to get himself to full guard.
Deely is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ramsey is controlling him.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Deely wants to sweep here but Ramsey controlling him for the moment.

Ramsey stands up from Deely's guard - Ramsey perhaps looking for a knockout.

Deely clinches up against the cage.

Deely has Ramsey pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Deely pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Ramsey tumbling to the mat - Deely dives into Ramsey's guard.
Deely really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ramsey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ramsey wants to get back to his feet but Deely is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Deely postures up in Ramsey's guard and throws a big left but Ramsey blocks it.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Deely would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Ramsey tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Deely wants to pass the guard but Ramsey is keeping the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Deely throws an overhand right that lands on Ramsey's shoulder, as Ramsey tries to avoid the shot.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Deely feints and as Ramsey raises his hands in defense, Deely changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Deely wants to stand but Ramsey is controlling his posture from full guard.

That's time! Ramsey's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Deely wants to break the clinch but can't.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Deely manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Ramsey is pressed up against the cage. Deely has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ramsey down to the mat. Ramsey avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Ramsey rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Deely moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Ramsey fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Deely on the side of the head.


It looks like Sean Deely has been cut.
Ramsey gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Deely counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Deely.
Deely would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

and Deely counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Deely.

Deely manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Ramsey stands and steps away. Deely gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Ramsey will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Ramsey throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Ramsey manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Deely tries to lock up and control but Ramsey gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Sean Deely showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Deely rushes Ramsey and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Ramsey fails to pull guard.
Deely fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Deely jumps into guard, dragging Ramsey to the mat.
Deely trying to keep a closed guard but Ramsey is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ramsey accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Deely looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ramsey is one step ahead there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Deely throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Ramsey avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Deely takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

I think Deely has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
