Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Thunder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kidd Brusko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jacob Thunder! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kidd Brusko! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thunder drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. You can see the frustration on Brusko's face as Thunder controls the position. Brusko sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Brusko is staying active underneath Thunder, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Brusko has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Thunder is working away from the top position though. Thunder tries to stand but can't do so whilst Brusko controls his leg. Thunder prevents Brusko from improving his position. Thunder could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Brusko missing with punches from the bottom.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Brusko fails with the takedown and Thunder counters with a nice double leg into side control. Brusko won't be happy with that.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brusko wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Brusko is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Thunder looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Thunder is breathing heavily. Brusko tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Thunder wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Thunder decides to stand back up. Thunder tries to clinch but Brusko moves out of range. Thunder tries to clinch up. Brusko with a body punch. A glancing blow. Brusko tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Thunder counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Thunder. Thunder gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Thunder feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Thunder stands up from Brusko's guard - Thunder perhaps looking for a knockout. Brusko stuffs the takedown. Thunder looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Brusko! Thunder looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Thunder fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Brusko is in all sorts of trouble here.

Thunder content just to control the position here. Thunder is landing with some decent strikes but Brusko is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Thunder controlling from the full mount. Brusko is looking to get to half guard. Thunder is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Brusko is in real trouble.
Thunder is looking for the choke from the back position but Brusko is controlling his hands well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Thunder is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Brusko tries to escape but Thunder has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Thunder is riding his opponent, not letting Brusko buck him off. You can see the frustration on Brusko's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Thunder is trying to stick to Brusko's back but Brusko is turning into Thunder. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Thunder's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Brusko. Brusko lands a couple of elbows. Brusko postures up in Thunder's guard and throws a big left but Thunder blocks it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jacob Thunder dominated that round. That's time! Thunder's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Brusko lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Thunder at a distance.
Brusko fails in his attempt to clinch. Thunder shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Brusko pinned against the cage. Brusko gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Thunder drives through with a takedown into guard. Thunder decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Decent striking displayed by Thunder there. Brusko takes one to the chin there. Thunder shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brusko as he jumps to the side. Jacob Thunder is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Brusko closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Brusko lands in his opponent's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brusko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Thunder swivels though and keeps the full guard. Brusko trying to control the position from guard on top but Thunder is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Thunder is looking for a triangle but Brusko pushes his legs off easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brusko gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Thunder scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Brusko tries to bench press Thunder off him but Thunder keeps the position. Brusko is breathing heavily. Thunder has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Brusko! Thunder controlling from mount. Thunder has control of Brusko's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Brusko regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Brusko manages to regain half guard. Good work. Thunder wants to take a breather but Brusko is having none of it. Brusko gets back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thunder stopping the sweep attempt from Brusko. Thunder wants to stand but Brusko has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Thunder is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Brusko escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Thunder gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brusko has a closed guard, preventing Thunder from standing up. Thunder postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Thunder looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Thunder passes into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brusko taking some punishment here, with Thunder in his half guard. Thunder takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Thunder keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Brusko has hold of Thunder's hands but Thunder slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Thunder is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Thunder drops an elbow to the side of Brusko's head. Brusko wants to sweep but Thunder has passed to side control! Brusko is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Thunder is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Brusko is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Brusko is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Thunder tries to control but Brusko wriggling away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brusko is desperately trying to improve his position but Thunder has a good base and remains in mount. Brusko is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.

Brusko is bucking up trying to escape but Thunder cracks him with another couple of good strikes. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Brusko can't escape the position.
Thunder looking to ground and pound but Brusko is blocking nicely. Thunder tries to control but Brusko wriggling away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jacob Thunder dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Brusko throws a combination that misses and Thunder counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Thunder. Thunder is pushing down on Brusko's leg trying to pass to half guard. Brusko is fighting to maintain full guard but Thunder has managed to sneak the leg through. Brusko moves into full guard.
Brusko keeping moving, preventing Thunder from controlling successfully. Thunder has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Thunder decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Brusko, up you get! Thunder drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Thunder wants to control but Brusko is keeping him busy. Thunder decides to stand up, so the ref orders Brusko to his feet. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Thunder drives through with a takedown into guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Thunder wants to control from the top but Brusko keeps moving. Brusko wants to sweep here but Thunder controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brusko manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Thunder wants to control but Brusko is having none of it. Brusko breaks from Thunder's wrist control and lands an elbow.
It looks like Jacob Thunder has been cut. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brusko lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Thunder is rocked!
Jacob Thunder's cut is getting worse. Jacob Thunder overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Brusko cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Oh Thunder is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jeez, Jacob Thunder's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jacob Thunder's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
