Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kurt Horner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ndama Cansui (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Horner comes to the cage accompanied by The Deftones. Ndama Cansui has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kurt Horner's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horner shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Cansui is trying to defend but Horner finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Horner is looking for a kimura here.
Horner is looking to advance position but Cansui won't allow it.

Cansui wants to improve his position but Horner is controlling well.

Horner seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cansui does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Cansui is squirming around, avoiding Horner's attempts to control the action.

Horner is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Cansui can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

BOOM! Horner connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Horner is working for a guillotine from mount but Cansui frees his head quite easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Horner lands a big shot there that rocks Cansui but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Horner avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

A head kick from Cansui lands but Horner takes it in his stride.
It looks like Kurt Horner has been cut.
Cansui throws a leg kick which misses Horner's front leg but catches the back leg as Horner tries to avoid it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cansui doesn't manage to clinch there - Horner circles away.

The fight stays on the outside here - Cansui looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Horner tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cansui swivels and escapes.
Cansui fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Horner has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Ndama Cansui is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Cansui explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Cansui cracks the inside of Horner's front leg.
Horner takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Cansui.

Cansui throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Cansui tries to clinch but Horner moves out of range.

Cansui scores with a head kick. Horner tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Cansui tries to close the distance and clinch but Horner swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Horner steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Cansui. That one must have hurt.
Cansui chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Cansui dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Horner. That did some damage!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Ndama Cansui showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cansui throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Horner.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Cansui fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Cansui! Horner is out on his feet! Cansui rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Horner is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Horner is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
