Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between tom watson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Misho Bang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). watson has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Misho Bang has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Paul Tew and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bang keeps the fight on the outside.
watson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
watson wants to take a breather but Bang is having none of it.

watson is looking to work some ground and pound but Bang has wrist control.

Bang tries to score a power double leg takedown but watson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bang somewhat.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as watson holds on and takes a little breather.

watson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bang's guard.

Bang pushes watson off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

watson looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Bang has picked watson up and slammed him! watson can't keep hold of the triangle and Bang manages to pass to side control!

Bang lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bang.

Misho Bang showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! watson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
watson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bang as he avoids it easily.

Bang throws a right hand that watson ducks under and follows up with a left that watson also avoids with ease.

and watson counters with a big head kick but Bang shrugs it off.
Misho Bang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bang stalks watson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into watson's face. watson staggers backwards, shaken.
Bang fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Bang throws a chopping leg kick but watson manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Bang tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but watson paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Bang is looking for a sweep. watson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

watson will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Bang up against the cage.

Bang throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Bang misses with a two punch combination.
watson lands with an uppercut that bounces Bang off the cage and back into rage.

watson rushes Bang and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Bang jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as watson walks away with a smile on his face. Bang gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
watson is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
watson postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bang is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of watson, into his guard.
Bang stands and steps away. watson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
watson doesn't manage to clinch there - Bang circles away.

Bang looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
watson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bang paws at him with a jab and circles away.
