Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dane Hoy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Roshan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoy comes into the arena with - blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roshan on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Hoy lunges at Roshan with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Roshan's hand. Hoy stuffs the takedown. Roshan shoots in and gets a takedown into Hoy's guard. Hoy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Roshan trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hoy looking to control.
Hoy tries to land a sweep but no joy. Roshan wants to control from the top but Hoy keeps moving. Hoy has Roshan pulled in close to control his posture. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
We're going to have a standup here because Dane Hoy wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Hoy shoots in looking for a takedown. Roshan tries to sprawl out of it but Hoy keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Roshan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Roshan misses with a two punch combination.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hoy lands with a hook. Roshan tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Hoy scores with a nice strike. Roshan fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Hoy throws a leg kick and Roshan counters with a nice uppercut. A punch lands to the side of Hoy 's head but he takes it in his stride. Hoy swings away with a leg kick that misses. Roshan throws a body punch but Hoy moves out of range. Hoy looks for a takedown but Roshan sprawls well. A nice inside leg kick there by Roshan. That's going to slow Hoy down. Hoy connects with a leg kick. Roshan looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Nice cross by Roshan. A head kick from Hoy lands but Roshan takes it in his stride. Hoy lands a jab to Roshan's midsection. Hoy moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Roshan swats away the attempt to clinch by Hoy. Roshan lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Hoy backs up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roshan scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Roshan advances to full mount. A nice elbow there by Roshan. Roshan controlling from the full mount. Hoy avoids a series of strikes thrown by Roshan.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roshan jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hoy is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hoy and Roshan has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Roshan lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Hoy sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Hoy is looking to control Roshan's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hoy avoid being mounted? The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hoy keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Roshan is keen to just control but Hoy is a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roshan seems to be working for a kimura but Hoy defends the submission attempt. Hoy is trying to get back to full guard. Hoy is working hard here to advance position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hoy is trying to maintain the position but Roshan is very close to passing his half guard. Roshan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hoy keeps working. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Damian Roshan dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Hoy tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Roshan is able to avoid easily. Roshan misses with a body shot.
Roshan takes a swing at Hoy's ribcage but misses. A decent looking cross lands there for Roshan. Roshan on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hoy. Hoy obviously looking to wear him down.
Roshan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hoy but Hoy pushes him off and we're back to square one. No luck with that takedown attempt from Roshan. Hoy scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Roshan blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hoy. Roshan is looking for a sweep. Hoy is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hoy misses with a head shot. Roshan uses the momentum to regain guard. Hoy preventing the sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hoy throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Hoy throws a strike but Roshan rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Roshan is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hoy is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hoy has escaped and now he's on top! Hoy trying to control the position from guard on top but Roshan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Roshan can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Hoy controls the pace. Hoy trying to control the position from guard on top but Roshan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hoy postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Roshan is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hoy, into his guard. Hoy is controlling Roshan's posture.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Dane Hoy just wasn't active enough. Roshan throws a leg kick but Hoy checks it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Roshan misses with a double jab
and Hoy counters with a low kick, right behind Roshan 's knee. Roshan gets the takedown into side control. Hoy looking for a sweep but Roshan has passed into full mount! Oh no! Roshan trying to control but Hoy is having none of it. Roshan cracks Hoy with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Roshan landing punches. Roshan prevents Hoy from getting the reversal.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roshan with the ground and pound from mount. Damian Roshan has got the better of the ground game so far. Roshan trying to control but Hoy is having none of it. Roshan raining down shots from the mount! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hoy is in a horrible position here. Roshan smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Roshan cracks Hoy with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hoy taking shots to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Damian Roshan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Roshan decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Roshan keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Hoy wants to get back to full guard. Hoy wants to control but Roshan is keeping busy.
Roshan thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hoy's head. Roshan not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Hoy keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roshan trying to control from Hoy's half guard. Hoy has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Roshan is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Hoy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Roshan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Roshan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Hoy managing to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Roshan keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hoy's head. Roshan trying to control but Hoy is working from the bottom. Dane Hoy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hoy lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Roshan! Hoy raining down shots from the mount!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hoy breaks from Roshan's wrist control and lands an elbow. Hoy has control of Roshan's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Roshan regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Roshan wants to hold on but Hoy pushes him away. Roshan in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Roshan is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Roshan is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hoy trying to control but he's not successful this time. Hoy has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Roshan's face.

Hoy is landing with some decent strikes but Roshan is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Roshan sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Hoy tries to pass to full mount but Roshan defends it. Roshan blocking the ground and pound attempt from Hoy.
And that's the end of the fight! Dane Hoy showed his dominance in that final round. Well Roshan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
