Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luis Fenna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Jefferson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas Jefferson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Luis Fenna! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Thomas Jefferson! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jefferson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Fenna is trying to defend but Jefferson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jefferson connects with a nice short shot to Fenna's temple. Jefferson uses his free foot to push down on Fenna's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Fenna. Jefferson putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Jefferson is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Fenna can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Jefferson is working for a guillotine from mount but Fenna frees his head quite easily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A nice elbow there by Jefferson. Fenna knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jefferson on the ground. Jefferson in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Jefferson lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Jefferson breaks from Fenna's wrist control and lands an elbow. Fenna is squirming around, avoiding Jefferson's attempts to control the action. Jefferson with shots to the head and body - Fenna looks very uncomfortable down there. The referee warns Fenna that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fenna really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Fenna has hold of Jefferson's hands but Jefferson slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Jefferson working the head and body with strikes. Fenna is breathing heavily. Jefferson winds up and cracks Fenna with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Jefferson lands strikes from half guard. Jefferson frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jefferson punishing his opponent with strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jefferson with a couple of short strikes. Jefferson working away from the top, dropping strikes. Jefferson fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

He lands one big shot that has Fenna covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
