Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brasil dives in and grabs Davis's left leg, looking for a takedown. Davis pushes down on Brasil's head and hops out. Brasil is trying hard to land a takedown here. Davis sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Brasil circles away from the clinch attempt.
Brasil shoots in but Davis avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vince Brasil. That's going to take a lot out of him. Davis tries to clinch there but Brasil circles away.
Brasil throws a series of punches but Davis avoids them all with ease. Davis wants to clinch. Brasil fails with the takedown. Brasil shoots in for a takedown but Davis shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Brasil looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Davis tries to close the distance and clinch but Brasil swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Brasil tries for a takedown but Davis sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Davis tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Brasil manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Davis gets a clinch. Davis lands an elbow just above Brasil 's eye. Davis lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Davis lands an elbow inside.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davis creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Brasil drags the fight down to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Davis trying to control but Brasil is working from the bottom. Davis stopping the sweep attempt from Brasil. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brasil looking for a guillotine here but Davis defends easily.
Brasil has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Davis can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Davis got a little sloppy there for a moment and Brasil has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Davis has managed to get both his arms back between Brasil's legs - danger averted. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davis trying to control the position from guard on top but Brasil is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Brasil has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Davis doesn't defend quickly enough and Brasil has managed to lock this one up! Can Davis escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Brasil on a fantastic submission victory.
