Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atlas tries to clinch but Shakalaka moves out of range.
Atlas looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Atlas throws a right and a left that both miss.

Shakalaka fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Atlas, pushing him back against the cage.

It looks like Teddy Atlas has been cut.
Shakalaka escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Good leg kick by Shakalaka there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Shakalaka circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Atlas to the canvas! Atlas doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Shakalaka keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Boom Shakalaka!
