Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mark Brown!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Randlecan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Randlecan tries to clinch but Brown moves away
and Randlecan takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Randlecan falls off balance throwing a combination
and Brown counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Devon Randlecan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Randlecan with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Brown to score with a decent uppercut.

and Brown counters with a low kick, right behind Randlecan 's knee.
Brown is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Randlecan had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Brown connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Brown looks to land a body kick but Randlecan moved away.

Randlecan throws a looping overhand right but Brown ducks down to avoid it.

Randlecan on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Brown throws a head kick that Randlecan semi-blocks.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brown lands with a nice combination. Randlecan backs away looking to recover.
Brown lands with an uppercut that bounces Randlecan off the ropes and back into rage.
Randlecan throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Brown counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Brown explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Brown lands a front kick.

Brown lands with a nice body kick.
Brown lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Randlecan at a distance.
Randlecan takes one to the side of the head.
Randlecan takes a jab right on the kisser.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Randlecan tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Brown makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Brown bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Brown lands a front kick.
Brown lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mark Brown dominated that round.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Randlecan looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Brown lands a head kick. Randlecan smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Randlecan will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.

and Brown makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Randlecan really felt that one!
Randlecan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Brown sees it coming and avoids it easily.
The crowd cheers as Brown lands an impressive looking overhand right. Randlecan doesn't seem phased though.
Randlecan gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Brown bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Randlecan's head backwards.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Crunch! Brown slams his shin into Randlecan's torso.
Randlecan walks forward, straight into a front kick from Brown.
Randlecan is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Brown swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Randlecan takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Brown connects with a solid leg kick.
Brown lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Mark Brown seems to be getting the better of the standup.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Randlecan might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brown lets loose with a powerful body kick. Randlecan will feel that in the morning.

Brown lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Randlecan circles away quickly and effectively.
Devon Randlecan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Randlecan sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Brown cracks a nice hook into Randlecan's ribs.

Brown drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Brown is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Randlecan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Brown wants to control but Randlecan is keeping him busy.
Randlecan is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Brown postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Brown scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Randlecan to see if he's OK.

Brown is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Randlecan knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Brown wants to lay and pray for a moment but Randlecan keeps working.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Randlecan holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Brown tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Brown looking to control but Randlecan is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Well,Randlecan is on his way to losing a decision here. Can he use his experience to pull something off in the closing minutes?

Mark Brown comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Brown has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
