Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Javier Ramirez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Javier Ramirez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Phil Brooks!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Joseph Jones and Jonathan Paton.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Phil Brooks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brooks misses with a takedown attempt - Ramirez sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ramirez is looking to clinch but Brooks is avoiding it.
Ramirez scores with a one two! Brooks had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Ramirez feints a jab promting Brooks to slip. Ramirez then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Brooks slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Brooks is looking to chop away at Ramirez's legs.
Brooks dives in and grabs Ramirez's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ramirez pushes down on Brooks's head and hops out.
