Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bob Ironcrotch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Soza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Soza has chosen Sponge Bob Theme Song as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bob Ironcrotch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bob Soza! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ironcrotch fails with the takedown and Soza counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Ironcrotch manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Ironcrotch is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Ironcrotch working a defensive guard but Soza passes into half guard.
Soza stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Ironcrotch to get to his feet. Ironcrotch changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Soza tries to avoid it but Ironcrotch manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Soza to the ground. Soza escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bob Soza is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Soza cracks Ironcrotch with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Ironcrotch throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Soza was covering up waiting for the punch and Ironcrotch finishes the takedown easily into guard. Soza keeping full guard, as Ironcrotch tries to pass. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Soza can do anything to dispel that myth. Ironcrotch won't allow Soza to get back to his feet. Ironcrotch trying to control but Soza is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ironcrotch stands up from Soza's guard - Ironcrotch perhaps looking for a knockout. Ironcrotch fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bob Ironcrotch. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ironcrotch tries to score a power double leg takedown but Soza sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ironcrotch somewhat. Ironcrotch shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Soza defends it nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Soza tries to clinch there but Ironcrotch circles away.
Ironcrotch shoots for a takedown but Soza saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A head kick by Ironcrotch misses and Soza moves into the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Ironcrotch managing to block the knees to the body from Soza.
Ironcrotch is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Soza is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Ironcrotch is defending well for now. Soza stops a takedown attempt from Ironcrotch.

Soza misses with a knee to the head. Knees in the clinch landing for Soza.
Soza lands a damaging elbow. Ironcrotch avoiding damage as Soza throws knees to the body.

Soza lands a nice knee to the body. Soza crunches a lovely knee into Ironcrotch's ribcage. Ironcrotch takes a knee right on the jaw!
Ironcrotch tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Soza's elbow. Soza stops a takedown attempt from Ironcrotch.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Soza obliges. Soza misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Ironcrotch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bob Soza dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ironcrotch fails with a takedown attempt. Ironcrotch shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Soza defends it nicely. Ironcrotch doesn't succeed with the takedown and Soza counters with a slapping leg kick. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bob Ironcrotch. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ironcrotch looking to land some kicks to the body here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ironcrotch dives in and grabs Soza's left leg, looking for a takedown. Soza pushes down on Ironcrotch's head and hops out. Soza slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Ironcrotch tries to clinch and Soza counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. A lazy left from Soza finds it's target. Soza thumps Ironcrotch with a low kick. Ironcrotch blocks a head kick by Soza.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Ironcrotch with a lazy takedown attempt and Soza counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ironcrotch thinking. Ironcrotch throws a lazy head kick and Soza holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Soza letting Ironcrotch take a breather here. Soza lands a good knee to the midsection. Ironcrotch won't want to take too many of those. Soza throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Ironcrotch blocks it with crossed arms. Ironcrotch is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Soza misses with an elbow over the top. Ironcrotch avoiding damage as Soza throws knees to the body.

Ironcrotch wants to get back to striking at distance but Soza won't allow it.
Ironcrotch tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Soza smiles and moves away.
Ironcrotch moves in looking to clinch but Soza pushes him off. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ironcrotch shoots in but Soza avoids the takedown attempt easily. Ironcrotch changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Soza tries to avoid it but Ironcrotch manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Soza to the ground. Soza escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Ironcrotch shoots and misses and Soza counters with a thumping low kick. Ironcrotch chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Soza can pounce on him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A momentary lapse in concentration from Soza enables Ironcrotch to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Soza manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ironcrotch throws a strike but Soza rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Ironcrotch is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Soza dives into side control.

Bob Soza showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Ironcrotch shoots in and drives through. Soza sprawls well. Soza tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ironcrotch was well out of range. Poor timing from Soza. Ironcrotch with a poor takedown and Soza counters with a low kick, right behind Ironcrotch 's knee. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Soza tries to clinch but Ironcrotch moves away and Ironcrotch counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ironcrotch. Ironcrotch pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Soza is keeping the position for now. Ironcrotch trying to control the position from guard on top but Soza is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Soza avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Ironcrotch stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Soza swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ironcrotch wants to control from the top but Soza keeps moving. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Ironcrotch lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ironcrotch postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Soza is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ironcrotch, into his guard. Ironcrotch is trying to keep Soza in close.
Soza gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ironcrotch fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Soza sprawls well initially but Ironcrotch persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Soza won't allow Ironcrotch to pass to mount. Ironcrotch perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Ironcrotch not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Bob Ironcrotch has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ironcrotch trying to control the action but Soza is working from the bottom. Ironcrotch is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Ironcrotch throwing strikes from guard but Soza blocks nicely. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ironcrotch accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Ironcrotch tries to free his leg and advance position but Soza is retaining full guard. Bob Ironcrotch overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Soza wants to get back to his feet but Ironcrotch is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
And that's the end of the fight! Bob Ironcrotch showed his dominance in that final round. I think Soza has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
