Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Virgil Beck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Halo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Beck's entrance music is Cell Therapy by Goodie Mob. A fine choice. Halo has chosen Halo Theme Song as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Virgil Beck has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halo thows a body kick. Beck tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Beck shoots in looking for a takedown but Halo manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Beck's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Halo cracks Beck with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Halo defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Beck.
Halo lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Michael Halo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Halo just misses with a punch to the body.
Beck on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.

Beck ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Halo moves away.
Beck shoots in for a double leg but Halo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

enabling Beck to counter with a crisp jab.
Beck shoots in looking for a takedown. Halo tries to sprawl out of it but Beck keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Halo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Michael Halo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Halo is on top in guard.
Halo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Beck swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Michael Halo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
