Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Marksman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adrian Patty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kyle Marksman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kyle Marksman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Adrian Patty!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marksman throws a series of punches but Patty moves out of range.
Patty shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Marksman as he jumps to the side.

Marksman darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Marksman is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Patty manages to get to full guard.

Patty has his foot on Marksman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Marksman works his way back into a safe position though.

Patty is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Patty looking to hit a scissor sweep but Marksman is one step ahead there.
Marksman works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Patty tries to get to full guard but Marksman has control of the leg.
Marksman is pressing down on Patty's thigh, looking to free his foot. Patty is holding on for now.
Patty blocking the ground and pound attempt from Marksman.

Patty looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Marksman not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Marksman drops an elbow to the side of Patty's head.
Patty tries to roll over but Marksman keeps him under control.
Marksman wants to control but Patty is keeping him busy.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Patty shoots and misses
and Marksman counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Patty is rocked!
Patty looks gassed!

Patty gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Patty is still in real trouble! Can Marksman finish him?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Marksman stands up over Patty, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Marksman stands and steps away. Patty gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Marksman is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Patty is in big trouble! Marksman is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Patty. Poor guy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Kyle Marksman!
