Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heihachi Sakurai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kasyo Sipat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Heihachi Sakurai! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kasyo Sipat! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sipat stuffs the takedown attempt from Sakurai. Sakurai gets slowly back to his feet. Sakurai gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Sipat to score an easy takedown into full guard. Sipat scoring with punches to the head and body. Sipat working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Sakurai's head. Sakurai preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Sipat must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Sakurai keeping full guard, as Sipat tries to pass. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sakurai had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sipat defends it easily. Sipat is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Sipat throwing strikes from guard but Sakurai blocks nicely. Sakurai has momentary wrist control but Sipat slips an elbow through the middle. Sipat is in close to Sakurai's body, working some short punches and elbows. Sakurai is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sipat is controlling him. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Sipat avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sipat is in close to Sakurai's body, working some short punches and elbows.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sipat drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sipat jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Sakurai escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Sipat gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Sakurai is looking for a triangle but Sipat pushes his legs off easily.

Sakurai had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sipat defends it easily. Sakurai is breathing heavily. Sipat postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Sipat is working Sakurai over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Sakurai keeping moving, preventing Sipat from controlling successfully.

Sipat tries to free his leg and advance position but Sakurai is retaining full guard. Sipat distracts Sakurai with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Sakurai had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Sipat defends it easily. Sipat throwing strikes but missing. Sakurai throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sipat throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sakurai works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Sipat lands a couple of digs. Sakurai has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sipat can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sakurai is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sipat defends well. Sakurai keeping moving, preventing Sipat from controlling successfully. Sakurai working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Sipat doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Sipat manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sakurai has momentary wrist control but Sipat slips an elbow through the middle. Sipat got a little sloppy there for a moment and Sakurai has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sipat has managed to get both his arms back between Sakurai's legs - danger averted. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Heihachi Sakurai dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Sipat closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sakurai did well to prevent Sipat getting side control. Sipat working the head and body with strikes. Sakurai looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Sipat in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Sakurai tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Sipat!
