6 - 20 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zacharius Pendragon! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Myers swats away the attempt to clinch by Pendragon. Myers displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pendragon. Pendragon closes this distance looking for a takedown but Myers circles away. Pendragon misses with a two punch combination.
Myers lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Myers swings away with a leg kick that misses. The fight stays on the outside here - Myers looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Pendragon darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Pendragon is looking for a kimura but Myers is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Pendragon to get the leverage. Myers on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Myers tries to get out of the position. Myers is not content to let Pendragon control the position. Pendragon decides to stand and escape the position. Pendragon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Myers paws at him with a jab and circles away. Pendragon wants to clinch up but Myers keeps it at a distance. Myers motions for Pendragon to come forward. Myers throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Myers stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Myers throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A left and a right from Myers both land. Nice combination. Pendragon takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Myers is looking to chop away at Pendragon's legs. Zacharius Pendragon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Pendragon shoots in looking for a takedown but Myers manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Pendragon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. It looks like Zacharius Pendragon has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Myers uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Pendragon has time to react. Myers scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Myers tries to score a power double leg takedown but Pendragon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Myers somewhat. Pendragon misses with a takedown attempt - Myers sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Myers tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Pendragon is able to avoid easily. Ezra Myers is winning the standup battle so far. Myers connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Pendragon shoots for a double leg takedown but Myers sprawls well. He's pushed Pendragon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Ezra Myers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zacharius Pendragon. Pendragon takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Pendragon's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Myers connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Pendragon scrambles back to his feet. Pendragon has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Pendragon there as he acknowledges the shot. Myers punishes Pendragon's body with a nice straight punch. Pendragon misses with a combination

Myers lunges at Pendragon with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Pendragon's hand. Pendragon takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Pendragon moves into range and clinches up with Myers. Pendragon ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Pendragon no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Myers knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pendragon on the ground. Myers got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pendragon has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Myers has managed to get both his arms back between Pendragon's legs - danger averted.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pendragon had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Myers defends it easily. Pendragon tries to land a sweep but no joy. Pendragon throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Myers is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pendragon trying to keep a closed guard but Myers is proving a slippery customer.

Myers is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Pendragon not landing any meaningful shots this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pendragon frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Pendragon with good strikes from the mount here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Pendragon is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Myers to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Myers shrugs it off. Pendragon is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Pendragon!
