The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zimmerman tries to clinch but Mccormick moves out of range.

Mccormick wants to pass the guard but Zimmerman is keeping the position.
Mccormick drops back looking for a leg! Zimmerman is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Zimmerman manages to kick Mccormick off! Mccormick jumps back into Zimmerman's guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Zimmerman jumps guard and drags Mccormick to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Zimmerman is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Mccormick frees his head nicely. Oh but Zimmerman has switched to an armbar! Mccormick is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
