Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Araujo moves out of range of the strikes.
Araujo misses with a low kick.

and Silva counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Silva thows a leg kick but Araujo checks it
and Araujo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

and Silva counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Araujo feints and then cracks Silva's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Silva down.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Araujo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Silva.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Silva is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Araujo still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Araujo has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Araujo is in trouble now - Silva has advanced to mount!

Silva wants to control the pace but Araujo is squirming around nicely.

Araujo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Silva controls Araujo momentarily but Araujo frees himself.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Araujo throws the left hand but Silva avoids the punch easily.
Araujo scores with the left hand. Silva knows he should have avoided that one.
Araujo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Silva tries to clinch there but Araujo circles away.
Araujo throws a low kick but it's checked well by Silva.
Silva moves in looking to clinch but Araujo pushes him off.
