Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pikku Hiawatha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Los Anjos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hiawatha's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Gael. The crowd seem to be enjoying Los Anjos's choice of entrance music: After Dark - Tito and Tarantula. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hiawatha circles away from the clinch attempt
and Hiawatha cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Los Anjos throws a combination that misses
and Hiawatha counters with a nice uppercut.
Los Anjos closes the distance but Hiawatha moves to the side
and Los Anjos takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Los Anjos falls off balance throwing a combination
and Hiawatha connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Hiawatha throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Los Anjos tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hiawatha is in Los Anjos's guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Hiawatha is working Los Anjos over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Los Anjos postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hiawatha is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Los Anjos, into his guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hiawatha has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Los Anjos has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Hiawatha lands a shot to the head.

Can Los Anjos hold on?! Hiawatha is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Hiawatha has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hiawatha is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Los Anjos has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Hiawatha has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Los Anjos taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Hiawatha doesn't care though - he's delighted!
