Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Finn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Finn comes to the cage accompanied by Von Bondies - C'mon c'mon. Ryan Lee has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Mickey Finn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Lee!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee looks to land a combination but Finn avoids it well.
A left lands for Finn.
Finn connects with the punch.
Finn swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nice shot by Finn.
Lee looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
A jab from Finn finds it's way through Lee's defenses.
Lee rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Finn counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Lee thinking.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Finn looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Lee defending well as Finn loads up on a big left hand.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Finn pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Lee enables Finn to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lee manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Finn passes into half guard.
Finn thows a huge punch but Lee dodges it nicely.

Finn is looking to take a break and control but Lee is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Finn perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Lee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Finn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Finn thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lee's head.
Finn seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lee does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Finn winds up and cracks Lee with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Finn wants to control but Lee is keeping him busy.
Finn has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lee wants to get back to his feet.
Finn is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Lee!

Finn lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Finn can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lee is looking to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Finn is really struggling to control Lee but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Lee is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Finn lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Finn drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Finn's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Lee wants to stand up but Finn is controlling him.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Finn accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Finn is stalling in the full guard.
Finn sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lee's guard.

Finn has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Lee in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Lee is trying to stand up.
Finn controlling the pace for now.
Finn lands a nice shot to the head.

Finn is keen to just control but Lee is a slippery customer.
Finn is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lee can do to turn this around?

Finn is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lee is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lee has escaped and now he's on top!

Finn is pulling down on Lee's head to control his posture.
Lee won't allow Finn to sweep him here.
Mickey Finn is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Lee has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Finn is proving hard to escape from.
Finn manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lee manages to get himself to full guard.
Lee wants to stand but Finn is controlling the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Finn uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Well Finn has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
