Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Machado Adilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jathi Comi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adilson comes into the arena with Deep Purple - Burn blaring out of the sound system. Comi has chosen big things poppin as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. On his way into the cage it seems that Machado Adilson has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Machado Adilson seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Machado Adilson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jathi Comi!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Mauricio Rocha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Comi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Comi misses with a few strikes there.
Adilson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Comi is fending him off so far but Adilson persists. Nope, Comi circles away and we're back to standing.
Comi lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Adilson circles away quickly and effectively.
Adilson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Adilson on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Adilson moves out of range of the strikes.
Comi jabs Adilson to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Adilson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Comi moves away.
Comi swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Adilson counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Comi misses with a knee strike.
Adilson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Adilson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Comi would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Comi is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Adilson is looking for a triangle but Comi pushes his legs off easily.
Comi is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Adilson has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Comi is looking to defend but Adilson has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Comi! Adilson pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Comi taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Machado Adilson!
