Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joca Mamute (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cobb Nash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mamute comes to the cage accompanied by Undead. Nash has chosen Dry the River as his entrance music. Cobb Nash told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Luis Engracia and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nash avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nash scores with a jab to the body.
Nash wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Mamute tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Nash manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Mamute takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Mamute moves in looking to clinch but Nash pushes him off.
Nash scores with the left hand. Mamute knows he should have avoided that one.
A right-left combo lands from Mamute.
Mamute throws a jab when Nash was well out of range.
Mamute fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nash scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Nash controlling from side mount.
Nash scoring with punches and elbows.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nash cracks Mamute with a big right hand but Mamute just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Nash has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Nash advances to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nash softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Mamute is out cold! Nash jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cobb Nash!
