Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sum DumFuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Bush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sum DumFuk! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jay Bush! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Reed Andrews and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! DumFuk throws a sloppy head kick and Bush connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. DumFuk tries to clinch but Bush moves away and Bush counters with a lovely straight right hand! Bush keeps the fight on the outside. Bush circles away from the clinch attempt and Bush connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. DumFuk tries to clinch there but Bush circles away.
DumFuk tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. DumFuk avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Nice takedown defense from DumFuk. No joy for Bush on that attempt. Bush fails with a takedown attempt. DumFuk moves in looking to clinch but Bush pushes him off. Bush throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around DumFuk's waist but DumFuk gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bush off to one side. Sum DumFuk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jay Bush. DumFuk tries to clinch up and Bush counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in DumFuk's guard now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bush sitting in guard, not really doing much. Bush stops DumFuk from standing up. DumFuk keeping moving, preventing Bush from controlling successfully. Bush wants to get up but he can't break DumFuk's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Bush postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! DumFuk is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bush, into his guard. Bush has a closed guard, preventing DumFuk from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jay Bush. DumFuk clinches up with Bush and pushes him back against the cage. Bush takes a knee to the side of the body. DumFuk breaks the clinch.

DumFuk wants to clinch and Bush counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in DumFuk's guard now. DumFuk on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if DumFuk tries to get out of the position. Bush advances to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. DumFuk is refusing to be controlled, as Bush sits in half guard. Bush is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. DumFuk keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. DumFuk is not content to let Bush control the position. DumFuk kicks Bush off and gets back to his feet. Bush has a takedown stuffed. Sum DumFuk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. DumFuk throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. DumFuk tries a head kick but it misses.
DumFuk tries to clinch and Bush counters with a good low kick that DumFuk was not able to check. DumFuk is breathing heavily. Bush shoots in but DumFuk avoids the takedown attempt easily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. DumFuk throws a head kick but Bush moves out of range.
Bush has a takedown stuffed. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jay Bush dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bush is looking to advance position but DumFuk won't allow it. DumFuk is refusing to be controlled, as Bush sits in half guard. Bush is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

DumFuk stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and DumFuk wants it to stay on the feet. DumFuk wants to clinch and Bush decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in DumFuk's guard. Bush tries to free his leg and advance position but DumFuk is retaining full guard. Bush trying to move into half guard but instead DumFuk has managed to sweep! Bush is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bush is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. DumFuk gets to his feet - Bush follows without any prompting. Bush scores with a takedown into DumFuk's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jay Bush showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

DumFuk closes the distance but Bush moves to the side and Bush counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. DumFuk is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Bush lands a nice shot that snaps DumFuk's head back.
DumFuk tries to clinch up but Bush circles away and keeps his distance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bush closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. DumFuk quickly recovers to half guard. Bush is stalling here. DumFuk is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Bush seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and DumFuk has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Both fighters are breathing heavily. DumFuk decides to stand up, so the ref orders Bush to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bush avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
DumFuk tries to clinch up and Bush counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. DumFuk is looking to clinch. A head kick misses from DumFuk. Bush has a takedown stuffed. Bush circles away from the clinch attempt and Bush counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bush trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Bush missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Bush looking to sit in guard and control but DumFuk gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. DumFuk is looking to stand up but Bush won't let him. Bush is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bush wants to get back to his feet but DumFuk is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Jay Bush hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. DumFuk scores with a head kick.
Bush has taken the fight to the clinch.

The referee is keeping an eye on DumFuk - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

DumFuk throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Bush blocks it with crossed arms. DumFuk lands a knee to the head.
Jay Bush is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. DumFuk tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Bush avoids it. Bush wants a takedown but no success here.
Bush has DumFuk pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. DumFuk manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. DumFuk with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Bush blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Bush has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. DumFuk avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Bush can't get the takedown.
DumFuk unloads a knee to the mid-section. Bush lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
And that's the end of the fight! Jay Bush comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Bush winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
