Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beast Rage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazuo Kawada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rage comes to the cage accompanied by I'm a Beast. Kawada has chosen Dio - Rainbow in the Dark as his entrance music. Kazuo Kawada has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Beast Rage's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Joseph Jones and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kawada rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Rage counters with a stiff right hand.
Kawada ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Rage steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kawada.
Kawada dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kawada comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Kawada misses with a body punch
and Rage counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kawada lands with an overhand left.
Rage throws a body punch but Kawada moves out of range.
Rage misses with a body kick.
Kawada scores with a nice head shot.
Kawada bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Rage's head.
Rage scores with a head kick. Kawada tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Rage scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Kawada lands a really nice looking cross but Rage seems unphased.
Kawada jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Rage moves out of range as Kawada strikes.
Kawada throws a poor cross that misses

and Rage holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Rage has hold of one of Kawada's legs. Kawada is fighting the takedown attempt but Rage gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kawada is trying to control the position but Rage postures up.

Rage is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rage controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Rage throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Rage seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Rage postures up in Kawada's guard and throws a big left but Kawada blocks it.

Rage lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Kawada is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Rage throws a strike but Kawada rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Rage wants to stand and escape but Kawada is having none of it.

Kawada drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rage dives on top into guard.

Rage lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Rage throwing strikes but missing.
Rage throwing strikes from guard but Kawada blocks nicely.
Rage showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Kawada is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Rage has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Kawada is working away from the top position though.
Kawada tries to pass the half guard into mount. Rage knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Rage is trying is best to control the position here.

Beast Rage has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Kawada swings for the body but Rage moves out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Beast Rage dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Kawada thows a body shot but no joy.
Rage doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Kawada just misses with a punch to the body.

Rage has taken the fight to the clinch.
Rage slowing the pace effectively.

Nice body punch from Rage - that landed with a thud.
Rage lands with a light punch inside.
Kawada tries to break the clinch but Rage is controlling the position.

A right hook to the body lands for Rage.
Kawada is still on wobbly legs! Can Rage finish him?

Rage lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.

Rage gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Rage lands a big elbow - Kawada is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Rage!
