Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Da Giant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Apongo Sing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Giant's entrance music is Eye of the Tiger. A fine choice. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sing gets caught flat footed, as Giant shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Giant will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Sing keeping moving, preventing Giant from controlling successfully.

Sing has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Giant off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Sing gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Giant to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sing is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Sing uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Sing tries for a takedown but Giant circles away easily

and Giant counters with a nice double leg into side control. Sing won't be happy with that.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Giant wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sing, who protects the arm well.
Sing is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Giant asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Giant wants to lay and pray for a moment but Sing keeps working.

Giant has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Sing looks gassed!
Sing tries for a takedown but Giant circles away easily

and Giant decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Sing's guard.

Giant gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Giant is pushing down on Sing's leg trying to pass to half guard. Sing is fighting to maintain full guard but Giant has managed to sneak the leg through.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sing can do anything to dispel that myth.

Giant postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Sing to stand up.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Giant gets the takedown into side control.
Giant trying to control the action but Sing is working from the bottom.

Giant wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sing, who protects the arm well.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sing is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Giant looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Giant is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sing knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Sing is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Giant has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Giant has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Sing is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Giant yanks on the arm and Sing is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Giant.
