The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGregor keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
McGregor lands an overhand right.
McGregor moves into range and connects with a jab.

McGregor defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Tachi.
Tachi on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
McGregor scores with a head kick. Tachi tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Tachi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says McGregor as he avoids it easily.
Daniel McGregor has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hi Tachi.
McGregor tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Tachi shoots for a takedown but McGregor saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

McGregor throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
McGregor stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McGregor wants it to stay on the feet.
No luck for Tachi with that takedown attempt.
Tachi shoots in looking for a takedown. McGregor tries to sprawl out of it but Tachi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McGregor manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
McGregor connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Tachi momentarily.
