The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acevedo wants to clinch
and McPheters counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by McPheters.
Acevedo looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
McPheters decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

McPheters drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McPheters jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
