Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yiutsa Misura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Shevchenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Misura kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is MacGyver - Original Theme. The key to victory for Yiutsa Misura has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yiutsa Misura! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alex Shevchenko! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shevchenko slips a jab from Misura. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Misura shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Shevchenko counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Shevchenko wants to stand up but Misura manages to regain full guard. Misura is working an open guard so Shevchenko takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Shevchenko tries to clinch but Misura moves away and Misura counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Shevchenko shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Misura is trying to defend but Shevchenko finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Misura wants to stand back up but Shevchenko manages to pass into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shevchenko decides to take the fight back to the feet. Misura misses with a body shot
so Shevchenko counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Shevchenko wants to stand but Misura is controlling his posture from full guard. Misura pulls Shevchenko in close to prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Misura manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Shevchenko manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Misura slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Shevchenko is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Misura wants to control from the top but Shevchenko keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Yiutsa Misura just wasn't active enough. Misura scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Alex Shevchenko has been cut. Shevchenko shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Misura but Misura pushes him off and we're back to square one. Shevchenko gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Misura swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Shevchenko takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Yiutsa Misura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Shevchenko looks gassed! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Misura connects with a nice looking jab.
Misura lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Shevchenko falls backwards - clearly groggy! Misura dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yiutsa Misura!
