Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Marcin Jewtuszko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Firus Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jewtuszko's entrance music is The Rolling Stones - Paint it black. A fine choice. Williams has chosen Fuel-Hemorrhage as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marcin Jewtuszko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Firus Williams!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Kenichi Hosakawa and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jewtuszko looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jewtuszko fails to land with a series of punches.
Jewtuszko wants to clinch but Williams slips to the side
enabling Williams to counter with a crisp jab.
Williams has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Williams there as he acknowledges the shot.
Jewtuszko moves to clinch but Williams breaks away
and Williams counters with a stiff right hand.
Williams throws a lazy head kick
and Jewtuszko counters with a two punch combo.
Jewtuszko tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Williams counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Williams.

Jewtuszko is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Williams controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Williams tries to free his leg and advance position but Jewtuszko is retaining full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Williams slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Firus Williams.
Jewtuszko cracks Williams with an open hand slap.
Jewtuszko throws a combination. Williams tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Jewtuszko closes the distance looking to clinch

and Williams counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Williams.
Williams won't allow Jewtuszko to sweep him here.

Jewtuszko wants to stand up but Williams is controlling him.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Well, if Williams is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jewtuszko misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Williams.
Jewtuszko feints a jab promting Williams to slip. Jewtuszko then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Williams slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Williams.
Jewtuszko's corner calls for a 1-2. Jewtuszko obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

That's six minutes gone in the round.

Jewtuszko clinches up with Williams and pushes him back against the cage.
Williams tries for a takedown. No joy.
Jewtuszko is looking to break free of the clinch but Williams has double underhooks.
Williams is trying to drag Jewtuszko to the mat but Jewtuszko just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Marcin Jewtuszko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Firus Williams.
Williams is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Jewtuszko pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Williams has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jewtuszko avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Jewtuszko is looking to break free of the clinch but Williams has double underhooks.

Jewtuszko wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Williams has him pressed against the cage.
Jewtuszko is trying to force a seperation but Williams has the dominant position.

Williams is working for takedown but Jewtuszko is calmly controlling the position for now.

Jewtuszko breaks from the clinch.
No joy there for Jewtuszko, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Williams throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Jewtuszko.
Jewtuszko fails in his attempt to clinch.
Jewtuszko tries to clinch but Williams is having none of it.
Jewtuszko throws a leg kick but Williams sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Williams takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Jewtuszko preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Jewtuszko tries to roll over but Williams keeps him under control.
Jewtuszko is trying to stand up here but Williams is controlling him well.
Jewtuszko wants to get back to full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
A combination from Jewtuszko does no damage.
Williams avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Nice shot lands for Jewtuszko.

and Williams finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Jewtuszko throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Firus Williams will probably get the nod.
That's time! Jewtuszko's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!



Williams closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jewtuszko did well to prevent Williams getting side control.
Jewtuszko wants to improve his position but Williams is controlling well.
Jewtuszko wants to get back to his feet.
Jewtuszko is trying to maintain the position but Williams is very close to passing his half guard.

and Jewtuszko counters with a low kick, right behind Williams 's knee.

Marcin Jewtuszko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Williams takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Marcin Jewtuszko is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Williams drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Williams takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Jewtuszko looks to clinch
and Williams counters with a head kick. That will keep Jewtuszko thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Williams keeps the fight on the outside.
Jewtuszko lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jewtuszko.

and Williams counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Jewtuszko!
Jewtuszko is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Williams with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Jewtuszko is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Jewtuszko is looking to get to half guard.
Williams looking to control and managing it successfully.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Jewtuszko is trying desperately to improve position.
Williams controlling the position easily from mount.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Jewtuszko tries to lock up and control but Williams gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Jewtuszko makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jewtuszko.
Williams is breathing heavily.
Jewtuszko is looking to stand back up but Williams counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Jewtuszko.
Jewtuszko is looking to get back to is feet but Williams passes into side control.
Williams moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Let's hope that Williams has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Jewtuszko pushes Williams away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Williams gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Jewtuszko is looking to reverse the position.

Williams wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jewtuszko, who protects the arm well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jewtuszko regains half guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Firus Williams comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Williams has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
