Brando has chosen Showdown as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Poraido Brando!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Sosuke Kotani and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Babcock scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Brando looks to land a combination but Babcock avoids it well.

Brando gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Babcock to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Babcock sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Brando's guard.
Brando is not content to let Babcock control the position.
Babcock is looking to advance position but Brando won't allow it.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Babcock passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Brando!

Babcock wants to finish this one by submission but Brando is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Babcock.

It looks like Poraido Brando has been cut.
Babcock lands a big elbow.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

That has opened up Poraido Brando's cut even more.
Brando is trying to get to the ropes to help him get back to his feet.
