The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mutenia throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Beam's head.
Beam takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Mutenia pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Beam feints a jab promting Mutenia to slip. Beam then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Mutenia slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Beam rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mutenia moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Mutenia gets his hands free as Beam looks to control.
Mutenia is trying to stick to Beam's back but Beam is turning into Mutenia. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Mutenia's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Beam.

Beam bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mutenia's guard.

Beam has hold of Mutenia's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Mutenia tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Beam cranks the arm and Mutenia screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Mutenia, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
