PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eric Dmuchowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Levi King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dmuchowski comes to the cage accompanied by Express Yourself. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King jabs at Dmuchowski's body.
Dmuchowski shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and King counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Dmuchowski misses with a left hand
and King cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Dmuchowski jabs King to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Dmuchowski fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt King.

Dmuchowski is trying hard to land a takedown here. King sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
King uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Dmuchowski.
Dmuchowski ducks down and throws a hook to the body but King moves away.

Dmuchowski seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down King for as long as he can get away with.
King is squirming around, avoiding Dmuchowski's attempts to control the action.
Dmuchowski is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because King is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

King jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Dmuchowski is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Dmuchowski and King has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

King drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

King is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dmuchowski defends it well.

King wants to pass the guard but Dmuchowski is defending well.

Dmuchowski has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. King is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dmuchowski.

Dmuchowski might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

King is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Dmuchowski to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Dmuchowski shrugs it off.

This has been an exciting period of action!

King missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
King wants to pass the guard but Dmuchowski is keeping the position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Levi King showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!

King tries to land a front kick but Dmuchowski steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Dmuchowski is looking to wear down King with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

King smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dmuchowski steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from King. That one must have hurt.

King waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Dmuchowski. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Dmuchowski to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

King passes Dmuchowski's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Oh Dmuchowski is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
King content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Dmuchowski seems to have got his legs back now.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

King is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Dmuchowski is hurt! He's hurt bad - King fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Dmuchowski from any more punishment! Congratulations to King! Great finish!
