Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jonny Roberts!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jurgen fails to land with a series of punches.
Jurgen drops Roberts with a left right combo! Jurgen follows him down to the ground into side control.
It looks like Jonny Roberts has been cut.
Roberts manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Roberts manages to get to full guard.
Jurgen thows a big elbow that misses.
Roberts is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jurgen loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Jurgen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Roberts is keeping the position for now.
Jurgen won't allow Roberts to sweep him here.
Roberts manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jurgen manages to get himself to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Paul Jurgen has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Roberts bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jonny Roberts is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Roberts's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Jurgen connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Roberts scrambles back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A bone on bone clash there as Jurgen blocks the leg kick.
A looping hook to the body misses from Jurgen. Roberts does a little dance to reset his feet.
A jab from Roberts finds it's way through Jurgen's defenses.
Roberts walks straight into a right hand from Jurgen - that's dropped him! Jurgen jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Roberts from any more punishment! Roberts complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Paul Jurgen!
