Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Don Johnston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Valentine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Don Johnston has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Don Johnston seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnston uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Valentine.
Johnston moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Johnston tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Valentine counters with a thumping low kick.
Valentine throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Johnston.
Valentine lands a nice looking body shot.

Valentine throws a hook but Johnston blocks it.

Johnston takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Valentine has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.

Valentine bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Johnston's head backwards.
Johnston drops his hands momentarily and Valentine takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Valentine throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Vincent Valentine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Johnston takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Valentine feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Johnstons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Johnston takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Valentine lands a really nice looking cross but Johnston seems unphased.
Valentine fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Johnston looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Valentine cracks Johnston with a right hand to the side of the head.

Valentine feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Johnston's calf.
Johnston takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Johnston on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Valentine. Valentine obviously looking to wear him down.
Johnston closes the distance but Valentine moves to the side
and Valentine connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

A big head kick from Valentine and Johnston is sent sprawling to the canvas!

Johnston is rocked!
Valentine is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Valentine passes Johnston's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Johnston has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Valentine.

Valentine throws a powerful right kick. Johnston tried to block low but the kick was high! Johnston was taken right off of his feet! Valentine jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
