The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kidd misses with a two punch combination.
Herrera avoids a punch combination nicely.
A big right from Kidd misses.
Kidd throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Herrera sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Herrera shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Herrera throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kidd works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Herrera connects with a nice short shot to Kidd's temple.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Herrera is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Herrera lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Kidd really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Herrera. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Herrera loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Kidd scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Herrera land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Herrera stands and salutes the crowd.
