Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nurwo lands a leg kick that knocks Demarcus off balance momentarily. Demarcus changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nurwo looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Demarcus is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Nurwo's shoulder. That is not cool. Demarcus working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Demarcus working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Demarcus tries to advance to mount but can't. Nurwo is not content to let Demarcus control the position. Nurwo tries to bench press Demarcus off him but Demarcus keeps the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Demarcus advances to mount. Nurwo really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Nurwo looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Nurwo is trying to break free.
Demarcus throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage. Nurwo trying to control the action but Demarcus just sinks the hooks in. Nurwo is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Nurwo tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Demarcus moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Nurwo has worked his arm free - good work by Nurwo!
Nurwo is looking to regain half guard here but Demarcus keeps moving and retains side control. Demarcus looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Demarcus throwing shots but missing, from side control. Nurwo is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nurwo is trying to control Demarcus's posture but Demarcus avoids it. Nurwo gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Nurwo gets full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Demarcus sitting in guard, not really doing much. Demarcus wants to control from the top but Nurwo keeps moving. Nurwo is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Demarcus dives into side control.
Nurwo struggling a bit here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nurwo is looking for a sweep. Nurwo is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Anthony Demarcus dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Nurwo lands with a shot to the body. Demarcus clobbers Nurwo with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Demarcus tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Good standup being displayed there by Nurwo as he connects with a hook. Nurwo throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Nurwo fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Nurwo jabs Demarcus to the body, keeping him at a distance. Nurwo moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Joshua Nurwo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nurwo throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nurwo connects with a looping right hand.
Nurwo connects with an inside leg kick. Nurwo ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Demarcus has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Nurwo. Nurwo scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
That's one minute gone in the round. Nurwo cracks Demarcus with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Nurwo throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Nurwo lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Demarcus is rocked! Anthony Demarcus is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nurwo scores with a decent looking hook. Oh Demarcus is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Nurwo lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Nurwo circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Demarcus to the canvas! Demarcus doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Nurwo keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
