Kolec tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Riley manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Riley looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Kolec shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Riley is trying to defend but Kolec finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Kolec is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Riley is just riding it out for now. Kolec eventually gives up the hold.
