Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, john doht!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kong DooDoo!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

DooDoo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Still in half guard, DooDoo seems content to control.

DooDoo decides to stand and escape the position.

doht shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. doht showed some decent athleticism there.
doht knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for DooDoo on the ground.
DooDoo is trying is best to control the position here.
doht wants to control but DooDoo is keeping him busy.
doht thows a huge punch but DooDoo dodges it nicely.
DooDoo makes his way to full guard. A much better position for DooDoo.
DooDoo pulls doht in close to prevent any damage.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

That's one minute gone in the round.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Kong DooDoo hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
doht shoots in for a double leg but DooDoo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

DooDoo forces doht back against the ropes and clinches.
doht tries to pull guard but DooDoo won't allow it.
DooDoo tries for a takedown. No joy.

doht is trying to trip DooDoo. He has hold of a leg but DooDoo is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. doht persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
doht wants to pass the guard but DooDoo is keeping the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
DooDoo manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

DooDoo throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! doht has his hands clasped together but DooDoo breaks the hold and doht is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by DooDoo!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Kong DooDoo!
