Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Kreese (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Coby Skrilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kreese comes to the cage accompanied by Keelhauled. The crowd seem to be enjoying Skrilla's choice of entrance music: C.$krilla ft. AEV & DVD - Streets. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Kreese! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Coby Skrilla! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kreese looks to throw the jab but Skrilla is out of range. Kreese has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Skrilla. Skrilla moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Skrilla lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. A slapping leg kick lands for Skrilla.
Skrilla misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Coby Skrilla seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kreese thows a left - swing and a miss! Skrilla misses with a jab to the body
and Kreese counters with a shoot takedown. Skrilla fights it but they end up in guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kreese won't allow Skrilla to sweep him here. Kreese missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Skrilla pulls Kreese in close to prevent any damage. Kreese throwing strikes but missing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skrilla tries to land a sweep but no joy. Skrilla has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kreese throws a big right hand that misses. Skrilla is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Kreese trying to control here.
Kreese is refusing to be controlled, as Skrilla sits in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Skrilla with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Skrilla is thwarting Kreese's attempts to control the position. Skrilla looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Skrilla wants to control but Kreese is keeping him busy. Kreese trying to control from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kreese has his hands clasped together around Skrilla's back. He's all about the action.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Skrilla tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kreese was well out of range. Poor timing from Skrilla. Kreese misses with an uppercut
and Skrilla counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Skrilla misses with a head kick.
Skrilla fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kreese manages to avoid it. Coby Skrilla is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Skrilla misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kreese.
Kreese throws an off balance right hand
and Skrilla counters with a left to the body. Skrilla throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kreese misses with a hook
and Skrilla counters with a head kick. That will keep Kreese thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Skrilla lands a body shot.
A head kick by Skrilla misses and Kreese counters with a left and a right that hurts Skrilla! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Kreese jumps into full mount! This has been an exciting period of action! Kreese throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Skrilla because Kreese loaded up on that one. Kreese prevents Skrilla from getting the reversal. Skrilla is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Kreese with the ground and pound from mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Skrilla tries to hold on but Kreese postures up. A nice elbow there by Kreese. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that John Kreese will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Skrilla scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kreese doesn't seem bothered though. Skrilla misses the shot to the body. Skrilla is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Kreese rather than just go for the knockout. Skrilla throws a right and a left that both miss. Skrilla misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Kreese counters with a head kick. A head kick misses from Skrilla. Skrilla ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kreese moves away. Skrilla misses with a head kick.
Skrilla throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Skrilla with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
That's one minute gone in the round. Skrilla misses with a right hand and Kreese counters with a stiff right hand. Coby Skrilla seems to be getting the better of the standup. Skrilla turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Skrilla throws a predictable looking body shot
and Kreese counters with a shoot takedown. Skrilla fights it but they end up in guard. Kreese with a flurry of punches that miss. Kreese with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Skrilla keeping moving, preventing Kreese from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kreese is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Skrilla is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kreese cracks Skrilla with a solid left hand. Skrilla escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kreese gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Kreese throws a strike but Skrilla rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Kreese wants to sweep here but Skrilla controlling him for the moment. John Kreese overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kreese is controlling Skrilla's posture.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Skrilla trying to control but Kreese is working from the bottom. Skrilla content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Kreese has locked up a guillotine! Kreese's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Skrilla is holding on here and Kreese must be using up a lot of energy. Skrilla has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Kreese gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
