Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Negreanu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Desmond Devereau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Devereau has chosen Sans Pression-Territoire Hostile as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Trevor Gratis and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Negreanu.
Devereau sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Devereau is staying active underneath Negreanu, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Negreanu is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Devereau is just riding it out for now. Negreanu eventually gives up the hold.
Negreanu is tying to control. Devereau wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Negreanu is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Negreanu seems to be looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Negreanu seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Devereau does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Devereau takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Devereau tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Devereau stops Negreanu from passing to mount.
Negreanu is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Devereau knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Negreanu is breathing heavily.
Negreanu wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Devereau, who protects the arm well.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Devereau tries to buck Negreanu off but Negreanu is having none of it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Devereau moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Negreanu changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Devereau looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Devereau manages to work his way to half guard, despite Negreanu's best efforts.
Devereau looking for submissions off his back.
Negreanu is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Devereau defends it well.

Negreanu works his foot free and advances to mount.
Negreanu has control of Devereau's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Devereau regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Negreanu landing strikes from the mount.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Negreanu lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Devereau is rocked!
Devereau is desperately trying to improve his position but Negreanu has a good base and remains in mount.
Devereau is still in real trouble! Can Negreanu finish him?
Negreanu quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Negreanu but it's paid off an Devereau is forced to tap! Nice work by Negreanu.
