Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rodrigue Francouer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Woolard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rodrigue Francouer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tyson Woolard!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Woolard fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Francouer sprawls well initially but Woolard persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Francouer is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Woolard pulls his head out easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Woolard controlling the action here.
Francouer pushes Woolard off looking to stand but Woolard dives back in and keeps control.
Woolard is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Woolard seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Woolard wants to advance to full mount but Francouer doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Francouer wants to get back to his feet but Woolard is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Woolard is stalling in the full guard.
Woolard won't allow Francouer to sweep him here.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Tyson Woolard has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Woolard tries a head kick but it misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Francouer tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Woolard will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Francouer lands with a straight right. Woolard didn't see that one coming.
It looks like Tyson Woolard has been cut.
Woolard has Francouer up against the cage in a clinch.
Woolard jumps guard.
Woolard manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Francouer really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A head kick by Woolard misses
and Francouer counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Woolard makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Woolard looks gassed!
Francouer lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Woolard backs up against the cage.

Woolard turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Francouer is looking for a sweep.
Francouer wants to get back to his feet.
Francouer tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Woolard wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Francouer tries to escape but Woolard is in control.
Francouer takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Francouer is trying to escape the position but Woolard is controlling the position.
Francouer is pushing Woolard's head away, looking to escape. Woolard manages to hold on to the position though.
Francouer tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Woolard slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Francouer is trying to defend against the choke here but Woolard has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Woolard Tightens the hold and Francouer taps out furiously! Woolard displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
