Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johns throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Matias's waist but Matias gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Johns off to one side.
Matias scores with a decent looking hook.
Johns misses with a takedown attempt - Matias sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Matias lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Matias.
The crowd cheers as Matias lands an impressive looking overhand right. Johns doesn't seem phased though.
Johns shoots in but Matias avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Andre Matias has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Johns.
Matias moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Matias is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Matias looks to land a combination but Johns avoids it well.
Matias ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Matias connects with a crisp jab.
Johns looks gassed!
Matias thuds a left hand into Johns's body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Matias, as that shot connected.
Johns misses with a takedown attempt - Matias sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nice uppercut lands for Matias. That snapped Johns's head back.
Matias closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Johns out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Andre Matias!
